HOLISTIC RN, REIKI MASTER, NET AND LEBOWITZ PRACTITIONER, AND CERTIFIED YOGA THERAPIST (IAYT)
Anita's work is inspired by the recognition of the intelligence of the inner healer. After decades of learning and experience in practice, she has developed the skill to strengthen this connection in her clients, this connection that is often disregarded by our modern perspective of healing.
Anita has been blessed by numerous teachers in her life. She began her study of the Healing Arts at the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa. After completing a four-year degree in Nursing Science, she continued her work in ICU nursing for several years.
Together with her husband, she moved to Botswana in 1997 where she found her next teachers to be the people of Botswana who at the time was challenged with HIV AIDS as the number one killer in Africa. This experience changed many of her long-held perceptions of what health and happiness looked like.
In 2001 she arrived in Indiana, USA. Once again, she got a new view of the world and in her new country she soon found her next teacher that still guides her to this day: Neuro-Emotional Technique (NET).
Her connection with this Mind-Body approach was immediately recognized as a higher calling and her focus as a healer changed again.
Many years of applied clinical and academic experience in meridian theory, classic conditioning, homeopathy, neuroscience, applied nutritional science, body and memory dynamics qualified her as a Certified Neuro-Emotional Technique practitioner. She skillfully adds her experience as a Yoga Therapist to create the most appropriate therapeutic plan to fit the unique needs of each of the clients whom she has the honor to work with.
